Articled Clerks Training Program (WA) 2013
The Program
This Program is for Articled Clerks in Western Australia completing their twelve months Articles of Clerkship with a law firm or other organisation.
Leo Cussen Centre for Law is approved to provide the practical legal training (PLT) component of Articles of Clerkship in Western Australia.
Eligibility
To be eligible for admission in Western Australia, law graduates have the option of:
- completing twelve months Articles of Clerkship which also must include completion of the Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program or
- completing an approved PLT course.
Registration
Registration of Articles of Clerkship with the Legal Practice Board does not book a place in the Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program. You must separately make a booking with Leo Cussen In order to reserve a place in the Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program.

Designed for
The Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program is designed for Articled Clerks to demonstrate understanding and competence in the National Competency Standards (NCS) for Entry-Level Lawyers. Each topic complies with and assesses Articled Clerks against the NCS.
Registration of Articles of Clerkship with the Board does not book a place in the Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program (ATP). You must separately make a booking with Leo Cussen In order to reserve a place in the 2012 Leo Cussen Articled Clerks Training Program.
